If the Dresden Files series had been called anything else... It was a good series if you'd never read the Dresden Files. It even got me to read the books ... after which I found out why so many people didn't like it. It was horrible as an adaptation. Not actors' fault, they did the best you could expect.

I did love Farscape and Sanctuary, well worth a re-watch. I still need to dig into Continuum as it's been recommended before.

I love this series of forgotten freebies. My fave from the list is The Dresden Files - another one of those great TV series that were insanely cancelled. And why isn't Paul Blackthorne in a lot more things?!

Thank you for reminding me of Tin Man, I forgot about that one, haven't watched it yet, and I'm an Alan Cumming fan. Good to know it's available free.

Thanks!

And totally agree about Paul Blackthorne! He was absolutely the best thing about Arrow for most of the show’s run. The glue that held that ensemble together

Farscape was phenomenal!!

Agree! High time for a rewatch!

I remember watching Tin Man as it aired. It’s very good.

I loved Sanctuary but never got to see the final season the first time around. When I got my little Roku, I had a scour and there it was. Binged the lot and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice! I loved it during its original run - I’m definitely rewatching it!

I gave Andromeda a watch, too, as I missed it first time around. I loved the first two seasons, but after that it just felt like a vehicle for Kevin Sorbo and I sadly lost interest.

Was about to say, I vaguely remember liking that show at the time too -but the Sorbo of it all has probably tainted it lol

The version of *The Outer Limits* of which you speak must be a reboot--the original aired in the early 1960s, around the same timeframe as *The Twilight Zone*, to which it was envisioned as a competitor.

I never thought it held up to Twilight Zone, though. You can still watch many Twilight Zone episodes today and they hold up very well despite more than sixty years having passed. Outer Limits? Not so much.

Totally agree - the original doesn't hold up nearly as well as old school TZ. I still get sucked into those SYFY marathons. It's just so timeless.

Yep this is the 1990s revival run they did! It was darker, goofier and weirder basically haha. Like Tales From the Crypt, but sci-fi kinda? Worth a watch, it's bonkers.

Thanks, I'll take a squint.
